Art Deco ceiling light fitting

Virtually every room in my house has one of these fabulous light shades of which I am a huge fan....not only do they come in a super array of shapes and colours but they are very practical as they can very easily be took down to wash unlike some fabric shades of today....

In their "hey-day" they were very aptly nicknamed "fly-catchers" which I suppose they are as they do indeed seem a magnet to some flies in the summer especially is you live rural like myself but they are sooo easy to keep clean they're a dream to look after.....

This one is sooo pretty with a marbled white background and set off with pale green marbling they look truly stunning when lit and just as pretty when not......I struggled with the photos today as the light wasnt strong but I hope they show just how pretty this shade really is....

Comes complete with brass chains which I hang from three small hooks we have simply put in the ceiling roses so very easy to hang....if the chains are not long enough for your particular situation it is very easy to buy replacement chains from most DIY stores and doesnt cost very much
