A very rare Art Deco telephone made by ATM of Liverpool and known as the Strowgerphone or Hull Telephone as it was manufactured for the independant Hull Exchange
The design was inspired by the American "french" telephone which was made by Western Electric featuring in many of the Hollywood black & white movies..........we actually have such a model purchased many years ago on holiday in Florida and I wouldnt part with my " Cary Grant " phone for anything !!
Has superb condition handset cord and original black dial with numbers in black
This model originally would not have had a bell inside but has had a small bell inside at some point in its life so this will ring !
Fully restored and converted with bt plug so simply plug in and away you go....
THIS IS A VERY RARE MODEL TO FIND NOW-A-DAYS PARTICULARLY IN SUCH FINE CONDITION
